About Speed Capital

Welcome to Speed Capital, where our mission to revolutionize youth track and field is driven by a deep commitment to excellence, innovation, and community impact. Since our founding in 2018, we have dedicated ourselves to creating unparalleled opportunities for young athletes to thrive, fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for parents, athletes, coaches and clubs.

At the heart of Speed Capital are our visionary founders: Luke Robinson, Jonathan Terry, and Earl Smith. Their combined expertise in athletic event organization, sports management, and community engagement has shaped a strategic direction that empowers youth through track and field. Their passion and dedication are the driving forces behind our mission to inspire athletes to achieve their highest potential.

Our journey began with a single event in 2020, where 350 clubs and nearly 2,000 athletes came together to compete. By 2024, Speed Capital averaged 25 events across 17 states and 3 countries, making us the third-largest youth track & field event organizer behind the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and The United States Track & Field Association (USATF). Our competitions are renowned for their competitiveness, operational efficiency, family-friendly atmosphere, and the unique opportunities they provide athletes to shine on both national and international stages.

Speed Capital's initiatives are designed to support every aspect of an athlete's journey. Our athlete recognition and rewards programs celebrate achievements, motivating athletes to strive for excellence on and off the track. Our international expansion strategy brings our events to new regions, fostering a global community of track and field enthusiasts. The Speed Capital Foundation further extends our mission by offering scholarships, grants, and development programs that nurture future generations of athletes. Additionally, we provide crucial financial assistance to clubs and communities, ensuring that resources for training, equipment, and travel are readily available.

Our strategic alliances with some of the industry’s most reputable agencies enables us to offer state-of-the-art services to enhance the competition experience for athletes and spectators alike. Our SC registration platform, powered by TRACKIE, offers a comprehensive digital platform for event registration, records management, club management, and more. Athletes receive the exposure they deserve, connecting them with a broader audience to amplify their recruiting efforts or professional ambitions.

In 2022, we took a bold step with our international expansion, hosting the inaugural Speed Capital International Championships in Nassau, Bahamas. This landmark event featured athletes from 13 countries and set the stage for our future global endeavors. Since then, we have expanded our global reach to countless countries, with plans to establish at least one event in Canada, South America, England, and the Caribbean by 2030.

In 2025, having accomplished our organizational objectives in “Phase One” (years 1-5) by successfully introducing the “SC Experience” to various markets throughout the United States and abroad, Speed Capital is now poised to elevate to unprecedented heights. The next phase necessitates a strategic evolution from organizing developmental track and field meets to adopting a more refined and impactful approach as Speed Capital ventures into the “Elite Competition Model.”

In the fifth and final year of Phase One, Speed Capital hosted an impressive 17 events, establishing a formidable presence in multiple states and regions, and setting new standards in the world of youth track and field. As advancement continues, the "Elite Competition Model" requires transitioning from multiple meets in each state to a singular, highly competitive, and selective event in each region. This visionary shift is designed to elevate competitiveness at Speed Capital events whilst simultaneously creating an avenue to empower and enrich youth clubs.

During "Phase One," each event conducted under the Speed Capital banner was strategically partnered with a host club. This collaboration was quite intentional, paving the way for "Phase Two," where the baton is passed from Speed Capital to these host clubs, empowering them to take full ownership of the events in their respective locations. Speed Capital will continue to play a role in a consulting capacity, ensuring that the gold standard set from an operations perspective is maintained; we will provide the host clubs with essential resources, including medals, awards, pageantry, and staffing support as needed, to maintain the excellence and integrity of the events.

Local clubs, now adept to the standard required to host developmental meets, will seize the opportunity to lead these events and thrive financially, securing their stability and growth. By taking the reins and adhering to the standard set over the course of the previous five seasons, local clubs can tailor events to meet the unique needs of their participants, strengthening community bonds and ultimately fostering a vibrant track and field culture.

Concentrating on the direct operations of five higher-caliber events will significantly raise the bar for competition, providing athletes with a prestigious platform to push their limits and achieve extraordinary achievements. Furthermore, focusing on one elite event per region will allow Speed Capital to channel our resources into creating unparalleled experiences, ensuring P.A.C.C benefits from the consistent quality and prestige of these meticulously planned events.

Establishing a high standard for our elite events will ensure uniform excellence across all regions, and our supporters will know that each Speed Capital event represents the pinnacle of competitive opportunity. By embracing this elite-focused approach, we are not only advancing our mission but also laying the foundation for a more dynamic, competitive, and sustainable future for track and field sports. This transition marks a thrilling new chapter, one where we continue to set new benchmarks and inspire athletes worldwide to achieve greatness. Together, we will elevate the world of track and field, one elite event at a time!

As we continue to grow, our vision remains clear: to positively impact the lives of our parents, athletes, coaches, and clubs worldwide. We invite you to join the Speed Capital community and be part of a movement that inspires the next generation of champions. Whether you are an athlete, coach, parent, fan, or a potential sponsor looking to support the future of youth sports, Speed Capital welcomes you. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the world of track and field.
