The inaugural Speed Capital Indoor Invitational hosted by X-Factor Track Club at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH was a resounding success. Athletes from across the country showcased their abilities and set the stage for what should be an incredible year of performances.

Speed Capital South Florida played hosted a to over 150 athletes from the Bahamas and Bermuda, all of whom were looking to notch qualifying times for the CARIFTA Games scheduled to take place later this year in Kingston, JA.

We’ve has added another phenomenal youth athlete to the Speed Capital International Squad; Dasia Reed, 100M, 200M, 400M and Long Jump specialist, joins a stunning list of student-athletes that will represent their country at the youth level on the SCIS for several years to come.

Field events matter…Keyshawn Strachan showed us just how much. The Auburn University signee took to the field and tossed the javelin 69.94m to set a Speed Capital South Florida record that is unlikely to be beaten anytime soon. We look forward to seeing this young man competing at the collegiate level and hopefully on the professional stage before it’s all said and done.

The Southwest National Showcase brought another spectacular meet in the Florida track state and splashed it with tremendous talents.
